Says No Positive or Negative Developments Likely; Hopes for Progress Later in Parliament Session

Srinagar, August 4 (KNS): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday said that no major developments positive or negative are expected in Jammu and Kashmir tomorrow, despite growing public speculation.

Taking to social media platform X, Omar Abdullah wrote, "I’ve heard every possible permutation and combination about what to expect in J&K tomorrow, so let me stick my neck out and say nothing will happen tomorrow. Fortunately, nothing bad will happen, but unfortunately, nothing positive will happen either."

He added that while no announcements may come on August 5, he remains hopeful that something positive could emerge for Jammu and Kashmir during the ongoing monsoon session of Parliament.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Clarifying the basis of his statement, Omar wrote, "And no, I haven’t had any meetings or conversations with people in Delhi. This is just a gut feeling. Let’s see this time tomorrow."

The remarks come amid rising curiosity and speculation about potential developments on the sixth anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370. (KNS)
