Jammu, August 31 (KNS) : Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, IAS, Director Sericulture J&K Monday chaired a review meeting in his office chamber at B.C. Road, Jammu to take stock of the progress of various ongoing departmental activities and programmes.

The meeting focused on reviewing the physical and financial progress achieved under major initiatives including the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), Capex and Silk Samagra-II.

The Director held detailed deliberations with the concerned officers regarding the implementation status of various ongoing programmes and took stock of the progress made under the various schemes of the Department.

Bhat stressed upon the officers to ensure effective and timely implementation of the departmental programmes and maintain close monitoring of the progress under various schemes.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe called for coordinated efforts at all levels to achieve the envisaged targets and ensure that the benefits of the schemes reach the intended beneficiaries.

The Director also reviewed the issues, if any, affecting the pace of implementation and directed the concerned officers to take necessary corrective measures for ensuring smooth execution of the ongoing programmes.

The meeting was attended by the Additional Director, SDD Jammu, Development Officer, SDD E&T J&K, Project Executive Officer, SDD Jammu, Deputy Director, Planning & Statistics, SDD J&K and all District Sericulture Officers and Manager Seeds of Jammu Division along with the concerned Seed Unit In-charges.(KNS)
