Srinagar, July 2 (KNS) : Director Finance Health and Medical Education Department, Mohammad Rafiq, has passed away, officials said on Friday.  

According to his relative, he had suffered a stroke earlier this week and was flown to All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi where he died, they said. 

President, JCCRKCDU JK,Hakeem Javid expressed shock over the demise of Mohammed Rafiq. 
In a condolence message, he expressed his sympathy with the family and prayed for the eternal peace to departed soul.(KNS)
