Director FCS&CA Reviews Stock Supply in Baramulla

Baramulla May 9 (KNS): Director of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Abdul Rashid War, paid a day long visit to District Baramulla to assess the department’s preparedness and ensure adequate stock supply in distant areas.

During his visit, the Director chaired a meeting with departmental officers to review the stock and supply position, particularly in the border regions of the district. He emphasized the need for uninterrupted supply of essential commodities and directed officials to remain vigilant and responsive to the evolving situation.

He also conducted on-ground inspections of dumping positions and storage facilities in forward areas to assess the adequacy and efficiency of stockpiling efforts.

The visit comes amid heightened tensions along the border, prompting authorities to bolster preparedness and maintain smooth functioning of essential services.(KNS)
