Condemning the state forces for unleashing a reign of terror in Raidwani area of Kulgam Dukhtaran e Millat president Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi has said that Jammu Kashmir has become a police state where human rights are violated without any fear of accountability. She said that the situation is so worse that an emergency seems to have been declared by India quietly. She has said that India wants to crush the freedom struggle by iron hands. She has however said that the movement will be taken to its logical end despite India and the local puppet government breaking all the records of brutality.
In a statement Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi said that in Raidwani and other areas of Kulgam a reign of terror has been unleashed by the state forces and life made hell for the masses for no reason. She said that many a youth have been arrested during nocturnal raids and people beaten up besides damaging the properties during the raids. She said that even today the people were ruthlessly beaten up and pellets showered on them when they wanted to protest against the atrocities done by Indian army, police and other occupying forces. Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi said that many innocent people got badly injured in the unjustified police action while many have been arrested.
She said that in Pulwama SOG goons are said to have molested an innocent girl but the authorities are trying to hush up this case. She said that people of the area protested against the incident but the state forces used force against them same as was yesterday used at Syed Ali Shah Geelani’s residence. “I think it was for the first time yesterday that Octogenarian were made a target and beaten so ruthlessly yesterday near Geelani Sahb’s residence which is an indication that how brute the RSS backed puppet government is”.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi said that the situation has taken a very ugly turn and it is a cause of concern. “We have seen occupying forces violating human rights for decades now but the current situation seems to be different and more dangerous, it seems that army, police and other forces have been given a free hand and there is nobody to stop the brutality”. She further said that on one hand human rights are violated and on the other hand any voice raised is choked with the use of force.
Dukhtaran e Millat president said that India and its local stooges are frustrated seeing Pakistan taking a tough stand regarding Kashmir. “Since Pakistan for some time now is seen taking a tough ,which was required since, stand regarding Kashmir India is frustrated and seems to have decided to crush our movement with iron hands. I think things will get worse after Pakistan has aptly rejected Indian dictation and called off the NSA level talks” she said. She added “India cannot harm Pakistan but to vent her frustration we the Kashmiri’s will be made a target and I think the process has started” she said. Dukhtaran e Millat president has however said that Kashmiri’s cannot be harassed. “In fact our resolution, to end the Indian occupation, gets stronger with India getting more rude and brute with us “the statement read.
