Defying all challenges, Kunzer boys cover 460 Km distance on cycles

 
Ladakh, July 18(KNS) :Defying all challenges, four young boys from North kashmir's Kunzar area have travelled all the way from Gulmarg to Ladakh on their cycles covering a distance of over 460 kilometres in five days. 

The four teenagers Danish Hamid Sheikh, Syed Junaid, Zahid Hilal Dar, and Ashique Ahmed Sheikh fulfilled their dream to complete this journey. 

"All four of us prepared ourselves with mental balance and we started this journey and finally we made it successful," Says Zahid Dar, one of the cyclists who is just 17 years old.

He told Kashmir News Service (KNS), that there is no doubt that we faced difficulties along the way during this journey but we are very happy that we made this trip a success by covering 460 kilometres in hot weather. 

He said that on the way they faced many difficulties due to the rains. However, the courage of these four remained intact and they made their journey a success, he said. 

“Riding through the mountains was a tough task. But I believe that the more hardship one face, the more would be the feeling of contentment,” says another boy Danish. 

They said that travelling to Ladakh was one of their dreams. "But they wanted to do it differently. That is why they chose the cycle rather than other transport," they said.(KNS)
