Srinagar, Aug 04 (KNS): Curfew, restrictions and shutdown continues on the 27th consecutive day in the Valley while reports of nocturnal protests were reported from Nusu area of district Bandipora.
A top police official told KNS that curfew and restrictions were imposed in Kulgam, Pulwama, Anantnag and in parts of Srinagar city to thwart any possible protests against the civilian killings in Kashmir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Witnesses said that huge contingent of police and CRPF troopers were deployed who have erected concertina wires on roads.
Meanwhile, reports of nocturnal clashes between youth and forces were reported from Nusu area of Bandipora district. “Forces however dispersed to tear smoke shells to disperse the agitated youth in the locality,” locals said. (KNS)
