‘Government must pick up the threads’

Srinagar, Sep 03 (KNS): The opposition leaders on Saturday called for holding dialogue with all stakeholders including separatist leadership who have been placed either under house detention or police custody.
Sources told KNS that during an interactive session to brief MPs who are part of an all-party delegation to Jammu and Kashmir, scheduled to visit Kashmir on tomorrow for two-day, the opposition leaders said that all stakeholders including separatists should be approached as well during the visit.
Sources said that General Secretary of CPI (M), Sitaram Yechury suggested that “separatist leaders must also be invited to meet the delegation.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelIt is up to them whether they want to meet the delegation or not.”
Meanwhile, state secretary of CPI (M), M Y Tarigami told KNS that he believes that state government must pick up the threads and take this initiative in this direction.
He said, “Besides that, it will be advisable to release all the separatist leaders who are under detention.” (KNS)
