Srinagar, Sept 8 (KNS): In the early trends of the Jammu & Kashmir elections, the alliance of Congress and the National Conference (NC) has taken a lead on 25 seats so far.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) follows closely with 19 seats, while the People's Democratic Party (PDP) is trailing behind with just 5 seats.
The Congress-NC alliance appears to have gained ground, reflecting voter support while, the BJP, which has focused on strengthening its influence in the Union Territory post the abrogation of Article 370, remains a strong contender.
