Senior Congress Leader Mohd Anwar Bhat led the Satyagraha against the erroneous conviction and subsequent disqualification of Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi from Lok Sabha.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohd Anwar Bhat said it is the right time for the opposition to unite to defeat BJPs plans to destroy democratic system in the country and overcome Institutions. The democratic set up in the country is being destroyed by the BJP for power.

Rahul Gandhi’s conviction and disqualification from Lok Sabha should work as an alert call for others as they could also face the same treatment for speaking truth. He strongly condemned the BJP’s move to strangulate the genuine voice being raised against the naked loot of Nations wealth by Modi Adani nexus.

Congress Party shall continue to raise voice against BJP’s policies and diversionary tactics aiming to hide behind falsehood Bhat added and said the conviction and subsequent disqualification of Rahul Gandhi won’t deter him (RG) from speaking truth.
