Congress grievous over passing away of Senior Leader Gh.Mohd Sheikh

Srinagar Feb 17 (KNS):  The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Saturday expressed profound grief over the passing away of Senior Party leader Ghulam Mohd Sheikh and expressed heartfelt condolences to bereaved family


A condolence meeting on the passing away of Senior Congress Gh.Mohd Sheikh was  held at Srinagar Congress Office, which was presided over by Senior Vice President Mohd Anwar Bhat and attended by Senior Vice President and Ex.MLC G.N.Monga, DCC President Imtiyaz Ahmad Khan, PCC Secretary Muzaffar Shah and various other leaders.

The meeting expressed profound grief over the passing away of Ghulam Mohd Sheikh, terming the deceased a man of dedication and commitment. The leaders said that Gh.Mohd Sheikh always worked to strengthen Congress in Srinagar despite braving the brunt of the ugliest situation and also recalled his selfless services to the Party and people of his area. Congress has lost a dedicated leader in the passing away of Sheikh, they added and observed two-minute silence in his memory and prayed for his eternal peace.

The leaders expressed solidarity with bereaved family and said words are little solace at this time of pain, the deceased leader shall always be remembered for his leadership qualities

Meanwhile JKPCC General Secretaries Mir Ruvais, Waseem Ahmad Shalla and various other leaders have expressed grief over the passing away of Gh.Mohd Sheikh and expressed condolences and solidarity with the bereaved family.(KNS)
