Congress Foreign policy never followed or recognised by present dispensation: GA Mir

Srinagar March 14:(KNS) In ?the ?present scenario of the Russia – Ukraine war, India’s stand of keeping itself absent from the UNSC meet is considered timely and diplomatically proper. 


 The relationship of India with ?the ?erstwhile USSR is well known ?the ?world over. After the debacle of US and NATO forces in Afghanistan?,? Russia? has been flexing its? muscles? ?the ?world over. 
 
 India, under BJP led Government ?by ?Narender Modi? obliquely? sided? with Russia? due to weaponry? and other trades? with them, keeping ?the ?US at ?arm's length? obviously for? unforeseen ?eventuality. 
In? a statement, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC)PresidentGhulam Ahmad Mir? has asked the BJP- RSS headed Government why? they? ? shy away to give credit to Congress vision? who had established a relationship with the then USSR. 
 
Mir said it was Mrs?.? Indira Gandhi? ?who ?was advised by her political advisor D P Dhar ? responsible for making a strong bond? with Russia.The Congress foreign policy cultivated very ? effectively was never ?recognized? nor followed? by ?the ?present ?Central Government, Mir added.
