Srinagar August 16:(KNS)  J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Leader Muneer Ahmad Mir on Monday expressed serious concern over the hardships confronting people in Machil,Keran and other far flung areas in Lolab area of Kupwara District.

After completing his tour in far flung area in Kupwara District, Congress Leader lashed out at the Govt for not addressing local issues in these Keran, Machil and other areas and regretted that there were lack of medical facilities, communication, roads and drinking water facilities, with the result, people were feeling abandoned  and different from the people living in other areas in Kashmir.

Mir said there was no development in far flung especially border areas in Kupwara district, where people’s issues were being taken for granted and urged the Govt to focus on the problems for their redressal.

Dozens of delegations in Machil, Keran and other areas met Congress Leader during his tour and sought redressal of basic facilities to ensure that they too were able to live peacefully.

I would strongly urgethe Govt to focus on locals issues in Keran,Machil  and other far flung areas Kupwara District and ensure  that their developmental issues were addressed, Congress Leader added.(KNS)
