Srinagar August 08:(KNS) Chairperson JKBOSE Veena Pandita has expressed grief at the sad demise of eminent academician and former chairman JKBOSE Dr Aga Ashraf Ali. Aga , as Dr Aga Ashraf Ali was popularly known, made enormous contribution towards the cause of education in Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement to KNS, she said, Agha served as Inspector of Schools Kashmir, Principal Teacher's Training College, Professor at University of Kashmir, Commissioner of education, 1st Chairman of JKBOSE (1975-1980) before retiring as Commissioner Higher Education J&K in 1982.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe will be always remembered for the positive changes and reformations he brought in the education setup in Jammu and Kashmir.
