CEO Kupwara visits various education zones, directs officials to follow Covid-19 SOPs

Kupwara, March 09 (KNS): On the first day of opening of schools for classes 6th to 8th, chief education officer Kupwara Abdul Hamid Fani visited education zones of Handwara, Langate and Mawer to welcome the students and to check the preparedness thereof. 

In a statement issued to news agency KNS, a spokesperson said that he interacted with the teachers and the students and gave on spot directions to the officials for being very vigilant by following the SOPs Of Covid-19.

The spokesperson informed that the CEO directed for being very cautious regarding the health and hygiene of the students. 

He said that a good number of PRI's were also there and during the interaction they put forward their demands and on spot solution was made.

Teachers of all the institutions were directed to make the kindergarten classes very decorative and make availability of teaching-learning materials, teaching Aids, and other related things in such classrooms. 

He directed Teachers for making these classrooms very beautiful and attractive so that the child may feel better in school than his home.

Later, CEO visited BHSS Handwara and participated in the celebration of international Day For Women organised by the institution, in which civil society members, officials and students were present. 

During the speech CEO highlighted the role and importance of women by adding that women need to have faith and respect for themselves first only then they can expect it from others. 

The spokesperson said that on spot directions were given to ZEO's, HOI's and other officials for adding aesthetic value to the school premises by planting various ornamental plants and flowers etc. and retaining of 3-5 yrs of the children in the schools by decorating and well designing schools and classrooms. 

"He also mentioned that a teacher will be nominated as Nodal officer at district level who will design all the TLM and other related assignments for ECCE as per NPE 2020," he said. (KNS)
