Srinagar, Nov 4 (KNS): Chief Education Officer Kupwara on Saturday directed the teaching staff to adopt new methodological approaches for teaching to encourage student attendance and warned of action if cent percent result is not achieved.
 
Chief Education Officer Abdul Hamid Fani in an order issued by his office which is in possession of KNS reads:
 
"It has come to the notice of the undersigned taht in many higher secondary schools, High Schools and elementary level schools the attendance of students is very low, and is directly hampering the teaching learning process with negative effect on the performance of the students and teachers"
 
 "Remaining out of schools of children from November to ending February will make the students disinterested for the teaching learning process and will also effect on their final exams" Order also reads.
 
The order also reads  that "As such all the principals, zonal education officers, Headmasters and HOI’s of Middle and  primary schools are directed to ensure 100% attendance of the students in your respective schools."
 
" Adopt innovative / new pedagogical approaches for teaching and make them feel better in schools. We need 100% result in all schools, if not then be ready for consequences," order issued by CEO Kupwara reads.
 
CEO Kupwara also said that he is visiting all the schools  "if any such situation will be found the action under rules shall be initiated against HOI and the staff members."(KNS)
