Pattan 07 MAY (KNS): Baramulla Police arrests a rape accused in Pattan.

According to Kashmir news service (KNS)Yesterday on 06/05/2021, in the evening hours Police Post-Mirgund received a written complaint from one Gh Mohammad Dar S/O Abdul Rehman Dar R/O Odina stating therein that his minor daughter (name withheld) aged about 14 years was raped by one namely Asif Hussain Bhat S/O Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Bhat R/O Odina Pattantwo days before.

On this written complaint case FIR was registered in Police Station Pattan under relevant sections of law.

The accused, however, was well aware about his act and was trying to evade his arrest.

However, Police Party of Police Post Mirgund acted swiftly and arrested the accused. Further investigation is in progress.(KNS)
