Srinagar, Dec 02 (KNS): Bhartiya Janata Party on Friday revamped its party structure in Jammu & Kashmir amid the speculations that assembly elections will be held in early 2023.

BJP senior leader and General Secretary (Org), Ashok Koul while speaking to KNS said that after through deliberations of party leaders major changes have been done to make the party more strong at grassroots level. He hoped like predecessors new incumbents are expected they will spread the party agenda to every nook and corner of J&K and make people aware about the welfare agenda of BJP.

"Changes are inevitable everywhere. The leaders have been assigned new job and we are hopeful they will deliver party's manifesto with full zeal and zest", Koul said.

Earlier in a day the BJP leadership has restructured its unit in Jammu and Kashmir. As per party communique former Mayor Jammu Chandra Mohan Gupta has been nominated as vice president, Ayodhya Gupta as BJP Secretary while as Purnima Sharma, former Deputy Mayor has been nominated as spokesperson for J&K UT.

Simultaneously the party has nominated new district heads for the entire J&K.

Meanwhile political analysts believe the major overhauling in BJP vindicates that party has geared up for elections to which every regional party is eagerly waiting to.(KNS)
