Srinagar, April 29 (KNS): Bhartiya Janta party (BJP) spokesperson Abhijit Jasrotia Saturday announced its readiness for the upcoming polls in Jammu and Kashmir, saying "Whenever the Election Commission of India will announce polls in J&K, the BJP is ready to act upon energetically".
Jasrotia while speaking to the media persons accused the opposition parties including National Conference (NC), People's democratic Party (PDP) and Congress of having "hands filled with the blood of innocents," referring to their alleged role in perpetuating violence and political instability in the region.
"In contrast, the BJP has presented itself as a strong and decisive force, committed to bringing peace, stability, and prosperity to the people of Jammu and Kashmir," he said.
He also said that the world's attention has turned towards India, as the G-20 summit is being held in Kashmir.
"With the region transforming into a "Naya Kashmir," or a new Kashmir, under the BJP's leadership, India has emerged as a global leader in economic development and regional stability," he said. (KNS).
