Ashok Koul appreciates 'We Care' for their such initiatives

Srinagar, April 12 (KNS) :  In a bid to make women more aware about hygiene, BJP Kashmir unit in collaboration with NGO We Care on Monday launched ''Mission Anivarya'' and distributed sanitary pads among the women at party headquarters. 

On the occasion, Party's General Organisation, Ashok Koul said that function was aimed to distribute sanitary pads among the womenfolk. 

"We are following the footsteps of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji and such initiatives are vital for the overall health of the womenfolk," he said. 

Koul said under ''Mission Anivarya'', the sanitary napkins were distributed among them. It is a positive step and we must come forward to aware about these things in the society. 

He appreciated Asim Rashid Managing Director J&K Physical disability Society, NGO  for such initiatives for downtrodden sections of the society, which are need and sometimes due to lack of sanitary napkins , they are facing multiple issue, Koul said. 

"I urge to party workers and those associated with We Care to distribute these napkins among the needy families so that mission of PM will become reality, " he said. 

On the occasion, Party Media Incharge and youth leader Manzoor Bhat said the party is stressing on the health of the women members of the family for a healthy family. 

"We are also thankful to 'We Care for joining this campaign," he said. 

"Bhat said they will try to reach each and every corner of the Kashmir valley and so that it will build a healthy society," he said . 

Bhat said the campaign will be strengthened and if needed and more such initiatives are in pipeline.(KNS)
