Srinagar May 12, (KNS):Baramulla District Congress Committee (DCC) has expressed serious concern over the losses caused to Agriculture and Orchards in the District due to the recent hailstorm and sought compensation to affected people.
In a statement issued to KNS, Baramulla District Congress Committee (DCC) President Fayaz Ahmad Mir has urged the JK Government to assess the losses caused to Agriculture and Orchards due to recent hailstorm in the entire District for providing compensation to affected people.
The recent hailstorm has caused immense damages to grower, the Government should come forward to grant them compensation, DCC President said.
He asked the Govt to depute a team of experts who will assess the damages inorder to compensate the affected growers etc. (KNS)
