Bandipora, Feb 11(KNS): As part of the civic action programme, the Jammu and Kashmir police in Bandipora on Sunday flagged off 68 students for a week long Bharat Darshan tour.
The group was flagged off by Senior Superintendent of Police Bandipora Lakshay Sharma in presence of DYSP Hqrs and other officers from District police lines Bandipora.
Speaking with the media, Senior Superintendent of police Bandipora, Lakshay Sharma said that the tour is aimed to provide an opportunity to the youths to understand different cultures and togetherness of the country.

"We are excited to go on the tour, will take full advantage of the opportunity and will collect memories which will be part of our life," one of the students said.
He also said that he belongs to the Tribal community, the tour will provide them an opportunity to visit the monuments of the country which is not possible without the support of tribal students.
The students thanked J&K police and hoped more tours will be organized in future which will provide an opportunity to more youths to tour the country.(KNS).
