Srinagar 21 january (KNS): DDC member Haji Farooq of Lolab territorial constituency on Thursday held Awami Darbar at Lolab chepora in which Teshsiladr Lalpora, BMO Sogam, officers from PHE, PDD, and agriculture were also present.
Haji Farooq thanked people for their participation in the Darbar.
In the Darbar, People raised several issues including education, health, PDD, PHE, R&B. 
Durring the Darbar, the locals and people from adjoining areas were present who put forth their demands and apprised the DDC and other iofficers about various problems being faced by them including dilapidated roads, inadequate water and power supply, healthcare facilities, desilting of irrigation canals and repair of protection bunds on embankment of water bodies in the area.
 
Reacting to demands and issues put forth in the Awami Darbar, the DDC and other officers who were present said that government’s main focus is to redress public grievances and make all basic amenities available to them. The authorities of Agriculture and Horticulture departments were directed to organize awareness camps in those areas where fruit cultivation and agriculture farming is main source of livelihood to enable the orchardists and farmers to produce quality crops by using latest farming.
