Srinagar, Feb 21 (KNS): Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid Srinagar expressed grief over the demise of Abdul Rashid Mubarki ,the son of the leading and renowned religious scholar of Kashmir, and a firebrand orator, late Moulana Ghulam Nabi Mubaraki Sahib, who had a close association with Mirwaiz family.
In a statement, the Anjuman Auqaf on behalf of the organisation and its incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq who continues to be under house arrest paid glowing tribute to Abdul Rashid Mubarki Sahib.
The Anjuman expressed condolence with the Mubarki family, especially the deceased's son Najeeb Mubarki and elder brother Molana Mubarak Mubarki. It prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous for the departed soul and patience to the bereaved family members to bear the irreparable loss.(KNS)
