Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Wednesday expressed profound grief over the demise of senior National Conference leader and former MLC Sheikh Ghulam Qadir Pardesi, father of Lal Chowk MLA Ahsan Pardesi.
In a condolence message, Bukhari described the deceased as a man of high moral character, saying he was widely respected for his humane qualities, noble disposition and adherence to principles.
He said he had always held Ghulam Qadir Pardesi in high esteem, not only for his valuable contributions to public life and stature as a politician but also because of his close association with the deceased's late father.

Expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, Bukhari said Pardesi's demise was deeply saddening and painful.
He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and for a place for him in Jannat-ul-Firdous.
"At this difficult hour of grief, I extend my heartfelt condolences and sympathies to all members of the bereaved family, particularly his son Ahsan Pardesi. May Almighty Allah grant the family patience, strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss," he said.
