Srinagar, Nov 04 (KNS): J&K Peoples Conference President and MLA Handwara Sajad Gani Lone on Wednesday strongly condemned the tragic death of 20-year-old Adnan Akbar from Kralpora, Qaziabad, who lost his life in a horrifying incident near Lakhanpur, calling it nothing short of homicide.
According to the sequence of events outlined by Lone, what reportedly began as a minor altercation escalated into a fatal assault, culminating in Adnan’s death.
“He was pushed onto the road and run over by the vehicle, resulting in his death.

Reacting strongly to the circumstances surrounding the incident, Sajad Lone asserted that the tragedy cannot be viewed merely through the prism of road rage, arguing that it reflects a deeper and deeply troubling societal prejudice.
“This is much more than road rage. The concept of Kashmiri being a lesser mortal is almost a given even among the common masses, across the country. This case is homicidal,” he concluded.(KNS).
