Srinagar, June 17: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Thursday felicitated the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion Mela Kheer Bhawani that’s annually celebrated with great fervour in District Ganderbal.

In a statement issued here, Bukhari said Mela Kheer Bhawani represents the cultural ethos and pluralistic values that have always remained a hallmark for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

“These festivities and celebrations have always reflected the deep roots of brotherhood and harmony among the different communities of J&K that have lived together for centuries and continue to do the same,” he said.

Bukhari wished all the people of J&K on this sacred festival especially the Kashmiri Pandit Community and prayed that may this occasion become a harbinger of peace & prosperity for all.(KNS)
