Srinagar, April 08 (KNS): Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Thursday expressed profound condolence over the demise of former Kashmir University Vice Chancellor Prof. Riyaz Punjabi who after a brief illness breathed his last today at his Delhi residence.
As per the statement issued to kashmir news service (KNS)In a condolence message issued here, Bukhari described the deceased as a noble gentleman whose contributions in the academic fields are immense.
"He was a noble soul who strived hard to make Kashmir University one of the best Universities in the world. His death has created a void, hard to be filled and his absence will be felt deeply," Bukhari said.
