Alam urges Govt to ensure hassle free services on urs of Peer Dastgeer Sahib (R.A)

 

 

Srinagar, Nov 09 (KNS): Peoples Conference senior leader and former legislator Mohammad Khurshid Alam on Tuesday has urged the government to put all requisite and emergency services in place in view of the urs of Peer Dastgeer Sahib (R.A) for devotes who are expected to congregate at the shrines of the revered saint at Khanyar and Saribala Srinagar. 

Alam in a statement issued to KNS said that the government must ensure that dedicated passenger buses, adequate ration, water tankers, special personnel for ensuring 24X7 sanitation are put in place so that the devotees do not face any difficulties in paying obeisance.

He added that the PDD must make sure that the electricity supplies are made hassle  free with men and machinery put on the job to cater to the snags and rectify them on priority. 

Alam has also urged the people to hold special prayers for the everlasting peace in Kashmir and end of the prevalent pandemic so that humankind is freed from the burdens the deadly coronavirus has plunged the world into. (KNS)
