Provincial Youth National Conference President Ajaz Jan on Wednesday constituted a special team of the party volunteers to assistant the shelling hit people of the villages along the Line of Control, while lamenting over the apathetical attitude of the PDP-BJP Government towards the sufferers.
“It is matter of shame that nobody from the government visited the suffering people ever since shelling from across the borders intensified in recent weeks”, Mr Jan said while addressing party workers while lauding the great effort made by National Conference President Farooq Abdullah in reaching out to the people despite firing.
In a statement to KNS, he said the emergency committee of the youth workers would assist the people coming under the shelling range and ensure that they get all necessary assistance on time, as the government has abdicated its responsibilities. He exhorted the youth to remain vigilant about the emergent situation and reach out the sufferers immediately.
Jan led a delegation comprising party workers and the locals soon after Sawijan and Gagrian villages came under heavy shelling and apprised the local Tehislar about the ground situation.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe sought immediate shifting of the targeted civilian population to safer areas, so that damaged to life is averted.
Provincial Youth National Conference President expressed solidarity with the sufferers and assured them that every worker of the party is with them at this hour of crisis.

The delegation also met the suffering people and got a firsthand account of the shelling. They urged the administration to take all necessary measures to instill a sense of confidence and security among the people, who were feeling constrained to abandon their houses out of fear.
