Kishtwar, Mar 24 (KNS): BJP National General Secretary and in charge of Jammu and Kashmir, Tarun Chugh on Thursday said that The Kashmir Files movie has presented tragedy of a planned genocide in Kashmir in the 1990s in front of the countrymen.
Addressing a huge gathering at Kishtwar, he said that the leaders and administration, whose responsibility was to protect their citizens, surrendered further to the terrorists and turned from protectors to eaters.
Chugh said that this is the place where Hindus were massacred several times in the 1990s. “Terrorists, like cannibals, gunned down people from a 3-month-old Hindu daughter to an old man. The entire Hindu wedding processions were killed and the bride was taken away, the women's breasts were cut off and the brother's liver was removed and the incidents of feeding the Pandit brother are full of massacre of the demoniac who is a curse on humanity,” he said.
Chugh said that a section across the country has been hiding similar incidents and has been projecting the genocidal militants as "innocent youth fighting for freedom. “They have been getting red carpet, VVIP treatment, biriyani and money. And those villains have been made pseudo-heroes, this trend continues even today in some educational institutions and they have a national eco-system.”
He said that Mufti and Abdullah clans have sometimes misled the extremists in the name of Shahid, sometimes in the name of autonomy, sometimes implementing the 1952 status and in the name of Pakistan-China, still working there. “But fortunately there is a BJP government led by PM Modi in the country, which does not allow their nefarious plans to be fulfilled.”
He said that the people of Kashmir have come to know about the truth of Abdullah Mufti family. “How this family has exploited Kashmiris for six decades. This family neither provided basic facilities to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, nor took the essence of the people of Dalit and other backward classes settled in the state to nurture their politics.”
He also said that this time the political atmosphere has changed in Kashmir. “After the removal of Article 370, the people of Jammu and Kashmir have started getting benefits of the schemes of the central government. Thousands of state and the employees of the central government are getting the salary and other facilities fixed by the central government.”
In response to a question, Chugh said that in the elections of five states, BJP has achieved great success in four states including Uttar Pradesh. “The reason for the victory of Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab is the rejection of traditional political parties by the people,” he said. (KNS)
