Sumbal 17 June (KNS): In pursuance to the Developmental review meeting held under the chairmanship of Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon, Principal Secretary to the Government, Skill Development Department (Administrative Secretary for Monitoring of all development works of Bandipora) on 09/06/2021 through video conference, A meeting was held in the Dak Bungalow Sumbal under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner Bandipora Afsar Ali Khan . Sub Divisional Magistrate Sumbal Dr.Bashir Lone, Tehsildar Sumbal Zeeshan Tahir Chairman Municipal Committee Hajin Irshad Ahmad Executive Engineer PHE Division Sopore along with AEE Sumbal  Executive Engineer, R&B Division Sumbal Executive Officer Municipal Committee Hajin Mr. Firdous Ahmad and Representative of EO MC Sumbal.

 

At the outset all the participants were thanked for making it to the meeting. Various development issues were discussed threadbare and following directions were given on spot.

 

Executive Engineer, PDD/I&FC/PHE were given directions to explore the suitable office accommodation for PDD/PHE/I&FC within Hajin Municipality limits for shifting sub division level offices to Hajin at an earliest.

 

Executive Engineer R&B Sumbal was given direction to complete Macadamisation of all roads before the winter season and ensure completion of ongoing works/Projects as per fixed time line 

Executive Engineer, PHE Div Sopore was given direction to complete the construction of languishing projects of PHE /Jal Shakhti schemes particularly of Hajin/Sumbal Sub Division so that safe drinking water is ensured to all households in time and to ensure that the tanker service is provided to the habitation where ever required with special emphasis on Tundpora and Rakhe Hajin areas.

 

ADDC and SDM sumbal along with the concerned Officials visited Hajin PHE scheme,Shahgund PHE Scheme and Hajin Tundpora OH Tank to review the onspot functioning and on going work of the projects.(KNS)
