Mirwaiz Umar Farooq urges Muslims to adopt the Prophet’s teachings as guiding light
Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, in his address at the Central Jama Masjid Srinagar, said that the blessed month of Rabi? al-Awwal holds special significance as it marks the birth and mission of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the Mercy to all worlds.

Mirwaiz urged Muslims, particularly the youth, to take inspiration from the Prophet’s life and make his guidance central to their character and conduct. He said that the month of Rabi? al-Awwal is an opportunity to reflect, reform, and seek direction from the Prophet’s exemplary way for both personal and collective betterment.
