Srinagar, May 12 (KNS): The Jammu & Kashmir Hoteliers Club on Monday extended an open invitation to all Indians to visit Kashmir, stating that the situation in the region has significantly improved.

Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, JK Hoteliers Club Chairman Mushtaq Chaya said, “We invite the entire country to visit Kashmir. We belong to them, and they belong to us. The situation has improved, and there is no reason not to explore Jammu and Kashmir.”

Chaya congratulated the entire country and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the ceasefire, calling it a wise decision that has restored normalcy, especially in Jammu & Kashmir. “The entire country is happy, particularly the people of Jammu & Kashmir,” he added.

Highlighting the importance of tourism in the region, Chaya said over 30 lakh people are directly or indirectly associated with the tourism industry in J&K. “We wholeheartedly invite the entire nation to experience the beauty and hospitality of Jammu & Kashmir,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

He also said that in the upcoming days we are meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. “They all play a crucial role in reviving tourism in the region, and they are keen to bring back a tourism boom,” Chaya said.

He emphasized that the Prime Minister’s support is vital for the resurgence of tourism in the Union Territory and hinted at a major announcement to be made soon in collaboration with LG Sinha and CM Abdullah.

“The Tourism Minister is also actively working to boost the sector,” he said. “We believe that time is the greatest healer. The situation has steadily improved, and we are confident that people across the country will now come forward to explore the vibrant tourism opportunities in Jammu & Kashmir, he added.(KNS)
