Uri, August 17:(KNS) The Zulfiqar Ali Memorial Volleyball tournament was on Monday played between Northern Knights Kaller and Dabang 6 Nada at Murhi area of Garkote village here.

Team Northern Knights Kaller beat Dabang 6 Nada by 2-0 which qualifies it for the semifinals.

The inaugural match of the Zulfiqar Ali Memorial Volleyball Tournament was played between Muhri Masters and Apna Time Ayega Team on Sunday at same place.

The match was won by Muhri Masters by 2-0.

There are a total 8 teams participating in the tournament.

As per the organisers, this is a single-elimination which means knock-out tournament where the loser of each match is immediately eliminated from the tournament.

"Each winner will play another match in the next round, until the final match, whose winner will be the tournament champion," they said.(KNS)
