Srinagar, Apr 26 (KNS): Two Terrorists have been killed in an encounter between security forces and Terrorists in the Nowpora Sopore area of North Kashmir's Baramulla district.

A top police officer told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that two terrorists have been killed by security forces in Nowpora Sopore, whose identity is yet to be ascertained.

Earlier on a specific input , the joint team of Police, Army and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Nowpora Sopore area.

As the joint team of forces intensified searches towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon the forces triggering off a gunfight.

A top police officer has confirmed about the killing of two terrorists in the encounter.(KNS)
