Winter games concluded in Villgam

 Kupwara, Jan 4(KNS): In a thrilling culmination at the cricket stadium Hakaniabad Punzwa Villagam, the Winter Games concluded with an air of excitement and achievement.

The final match, presided over by the DC Kupwara Ayushi Sudam and SSP Handwara,  Dawood Ayoob, showcased outstanding sportsmanship on Thursday.

With participation from hundreds of athletes across  district the event brought together a diverse array of talent and competitive spirit.

The cricket stadium echoed with cheers and applause as players exhibited their skills and determination in the pursuit of victory.

DC Kupwara and SP Handwara and Zahoor Ahmad District youth sports officer Kupwara took center stage to distribute medals among the deserving winners, acknowledging their hard work and dedication. The encouragement extended by these dignitaries undoubtedly served as a source of motivation for all participants, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among the athletes.

As the Winter Games concluded, the legacy of sportsmanship and healthy competition lingered in the air, leaving a lasting impression on both participants and spectators alike.

Syed Ghulam Rabbani on the occasion presented a token of honour to DC Kupwara who was chief guest at the event. Rabbani is playing an active role in all event across Kupwara district.(KNS).
