Tourists entry in J&K should be banned due to increase in Omicron cases: JKPM

Srinagar, Dec 24 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir People's Movement Adl. General Secretary Javid Ahmad Friday said that UT administration should impose immediate ban on tourists entry in the Jammu and Kashmir to save the people of Jammu and Kashmir from the Omicron virus. 

Javid Ahmad said governments of Delhi and Mumbai imposed ban on tourists entry in their cities ahead of daily increase in Omicron case across India, here in J&K tourist are being allowed in large crowds without proper testing and it will create havoc and may be reason to spread Omicron virus very fast. 

Javid Ahmad further said administration are banning political rallies as well as other large gatherings locally and allowing tourists from outside to enter J&K.

Javid Ahmad urged UT administration to impose immediate ban on tourists entry as early as possible to save people across J&K from Omicron virus. (KNS)
