The programme commenced at 9:00 a.m. with Marsiya Khwani, following which the President of the Anjuman, Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Al-Safvi, delivered the Friday Khutba (Juma Khutba) and led the congregational Friday prayers.

 

Addressing the massive gathering, Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Al-Safvi highlighted the significance of the post-Karbala movement of Jihad-e-Tabyeen, stating that although the battlefield of Karbala concluded with the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS), the mission of safeguarding Islam and exposing falsehood continued through the courageous sermons of Hazrat Zainab (SA). He said her historic addresses in Kufa and the court of Yazid transformed an apparent military defeat into an eternal moral and ideological victory by exposing the tyranny and illegitimacy of Yazid's regime.

 

The Anjuman President observed that Yazid had established a vast political, religious and intellectual apparatus to distort Islamic teachings, suppress the position and teachings of Ahlul Bayt (AS), and legitimise oppression through systematic propaganda. He said the sermons of Hazrat Zainab (SA) dismantled this fabricated narrative, restored the true Islamic understanding founded on justice, truth and divine guidance, and demonstrated that worldly power, wealth and political dominance can never be the criterion of truth. Rather, he said, faith, piety and steadfastness before Almighty Allah alone constitute the true standard of honour, as affirmed by the Holy Quran.

 

Aga Syed Hassan further stated that throughout history oppressive regimes have relied on misinformation and character assassination to justify persecution, portraying Prophets and divine leaders as rebels and enemies of society.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelYazid adopted the same strategy against Imam Hussain (AS) and the Ahlul Bayt (AS), he said, but the sermons of Hazrat Zainab (SA) permanently exposed this falsehood and clearly distinguished resistance against tyranny from rebellion against Allah and His Messenger (PBUH).

 

Referring to the timeless declaration of Hazrat Zainab (SA) in Yazid's court, he said every attempt to erase the remembrance of Ahlul Bayt (AS) has failed and will continue to fail, as truth and the message of Karbala remain everlasting despite the temporary dominance of tyrants.

 

Drawing contemporary lessons from the message of Karbala, the Anjuman President stated that the unwavering struggle against violence, injustice, oppression and tyranny continues today through the path of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, founded by Hazrat Imam Ruhullah Khomeini (RA) and further strengthened through the supreme sacrifice and leadership of Shaheed Rahbar-e-Moazzam Hazrat Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei (RA). He said that after the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader, this movement has continued with renewed determination, greater stability and ideological strength.

 

Concluding his address, Aga Syed Hassan offered special prayers at the shrine of Hazrat Mir Syed Shamsuddin Araqi (RA), seeking Allah's infinite mercy and the highest ranks for the revered saint. He also prayed for peace, dignity and victory for the oppressed people of Palestine, Gaza, Lebanon and Yemen, for the protection and success of the Islamic Republic of Iran, its religious leadership, scholars and defenders, and for the unity of the Muslim Ummah and the ultimate triumph of truth and justice over oppression.
