Tajinder Singh demands opening of registration in favour of pharmacists, medical assistants


Jammu, Sep 17 (KNS): Tajinder Singh on Tuesday has demanded opening of registration of license in favour of pharmacists and medical assistant who have completed their courses before August,2019 as of 25000 qualified youth in Jammu and Kashmir have been worried about their uncertain future.
In a statement to KNS, while interacting to a group of students of pharmacists who have completed their courses in medical assistant /pharmacists and come to know that concern department is not considering for their registration and not permitting them to get license as after the implementation of central law they r not eligible for concern for which they are applying.
Singh said that before August 5, 2019 pharmacists were governed by Jammu and Kashmir paramedical council and in its place central governing the issues and this Act, doesn't cover the course of medical assistant/pharmacists.
This has forced the qualified youth to remain jobless and they are suffering from mental stress after many have completed the courses but have not been considered eligible for registration or license in Jammu and Kashmir, singh added.
Tajinder Singh appeal to LG Manoj sinha to look into the matter of educated youth and their courses should be accepted for registration and licence for opening of pharmacy retail outlets and must be eligible in government jobs as Pharmacists (KNS)
