Sindh Forest Division Gbl Seals illegal Bandsaw, Joinery Mills in Harran-Shallabugh

Ganderbal ,July 07 (KNS): Sindh Forest Division on Tuesday sealed illegal badsaw joinery Mills in Harran-Shallabugh area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
According to statement issued to KNS, Acting tough against the illegal running of various Bandsaw and Joinery Mills, joint teams of forest officials under the supervision of DFO Sindh, headed by Range Officer Harran Shallabugh, A.D Forest Protection along with B.O Town Ganderbal sealed illegal Bandsaws, Joinery units functioning in territorial jurisdiction of Harran Shallabugh Range.

While talking to media, DFO Sindh Owais Farooq Mir said that joint Squad of forest officials was constituted to look into the alleged illegal working of various wood-based industry units in the district Ganderbal

The team sealed 20 Joinery units and issued notice to 01 other, while 11 Bandsaw mills were also sealed and notice was issued to 11 Bandsaw units. He further asserted that such drives will be carried out in other ranges as well, it said (KNS)
