Chara-Shreef July 15:(KNS) In pursuance of the order of Deputy Commissioner Budgam Mr. Shahbaz Ahmed, Mr. Prince Noor, Special Magistrate, Subdivision, Chadora Bach, in order to find a quick solution to the important and long standing issues related to the historic town of Charar Sharif and complete all the projects under construction on time. An emergency meeting was held at Waqf Sub Office comprising officers of all departments of Sub Division and Tehsil Chirar Sharif and concerned engineers etc. where information on various constructions and other public issues was received from the responsible persons of all departments. He was asked to complete all the construction work on time. Earlier, SDM Sahib reviewed every work going on in the town on the spot and got to know in detail about their progress. After that another meeting was held in the presence of the public representatives in which the President of Alimdar Traders Union Jan Mohammad told the KNS correspondent that after the strong public demand, the efforts of LG Advisor Mr. Basir Ahmad Khan to resolve the long standing issues of Qoba Charar Sharif. Such meetings are being held for the solution. Efforts are being made to complete the important construction projects which have been neglected for years, while the R&B department has demanded payment of Rs 20 million for the construction of the shopping complex which has been under construction for 20 years. On the occasion, the trustee reiterated his call for permission to open a public park at the shrine, but the SDM did not allow the opening of the park for the time being, citing various concerns and adherence to global guidelines amid the current epidemic situation. Dar Ghulam Nabi of the Youth City Women's Council said that this is the first ruler who has seen the engineering of the historic monastery under construction for twenty years in his own handwriting and has to answer to the concerned construction agency for its construction negligence. Stood for During the meeting, there was a lack of co-operation or co-ordination between the departments on certain issues, for which the responsible persons of the concerned departments were also found to be to some extent to blame. On this occasion, Tehsildar Charar Sharif Mubashir Ahmed told the correspondent that all the long standing demands and other issues in the town are determined to be resolved quickly but in a phased manner. While from Chadoora to Charar Sharif, especially at the old bus stand, the concerned department has been given official permission to carry out the work of laying the required macadam within a few days.(KNS)
