Srinagar, July 10 (KNS): Government of J&K on Friday extended the term of Prof. Veena Pandita as Chairperson J&K BOSE for further two years.
An order issued by Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon (IAS), Principal Secretary to the Government, School Education Department said, “In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 12 of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education Act, 1975 (Act No. XXVIII of 1975) the Government hereby extends the term of Prof. Veena Pandita, Ex-Chairperson, Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education for a further period of two (02) years beyond her extended term that is 30.06.2020”.
