Srinaga, April 21 (KNS): National Youth Corps (NYC) on Monday demanded enhancement of remuneration, implemetation of new job policy and providing insurance cover to cadets who are working tirelessly even in pandemic times.

Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), District vic-president Budgam Danish Nazir said soon after Covid19 outbreak across J&K, NYC cadets are tirelessly and assisting administration in tough times. He said though we were engaged
under SRO 520 on December 21, 2017 but no enhancement in our remuneration was done so far. He also said we are working in various departments as a frontline force whenever ned arose during which we performed our duties with sincerity and dedication.

He said we are serving like a permanent employee but unfortunately getting meager amount of Rs 2500 per month as monthly remuneration.

He appealed Lieutenant Governor GC Murmu led administration to look into the issue and draft proper job policy for us so that we get benefits as others availed. (KNS)
