Sopore, Aug 10 (KNS): Residents of Khoi waree area of apple town Sopore in north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Monday complained that they are facing huge problems in absence of Tehsildar in the area.

Talking to Kashmir News Service over phone the residents of the area told the chair of the Tehsildar is vacant since last one year and authorities have not filled the vacant chair of Tehsildar despite passing a year.

The residents added that the revenue work in the area got halted due to non availability of the official.

The angry residents said that they brought the issue under the notice of Deputy commissioner Baramulla but nothing has been done to fill the post of Tehsildar.

They also said the area is without BDO.

They have appealed the authorities to fill the post of Tehsildar In the area at the earliest so that the people of the area will not suffer ahead(KNS)
