Srinagar, June 13 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Hotelier Club has hailed District Development Commissioner Dr Shahid Iqbal Chowdhary for allowing home delivery and takeaways for restaurants.
In a statement to KNS, Secretary General JKHC Tariq Rashid Ghani in statement hailed the decision and urged the restaurant and cafe owners to follow Covid Guidelines and all other formularies issued by administration so that hassle free work can be resumed.
"All precautions for hygiene should be taken and staff should also follow guidelines. We should set an example."
Taria Ghani said people should realise that economic activities are important but it should not spread the virus.
"Our lives are more important than economic activities. If we maintain discipline, we can defeat viruses and also do our business."
JKHC further requested DC to take immediate steps for reopening of hotels for full time so that tourism activities starts as earliest. (KNS)
