Srinagar, Sep 11 (KNS): The High Court Staff Welfare Association on Friday accorded a warm welcome to Chief Justice Dr Pushpendra Singh Bhati on his assuming office as the Chief Justice of the High Court.

A delegation of the association, led by its President Syed Anvour Shaheen, called on the Chief Justice and conveyed felicitations on behalf of the Registry and administrative staff.

As a mark of respect and traditional Kashmiri hospitality, the association presented the Chief Justice with a floral bouquet, ceremonial robes and a traditional Kashmiri shawl.

Shaheen said the staff fraternity looks forward to working under the leadership and guidance of the Chief Justice.

He expressed hope that the new leadership would provide continued institutional support to employees and further strengthen the administrative system of the High Court.

The Chief Justice appreciated the warm gesture and welcome extended by the Staff Welfare Association.

He acknowledged the important role played by court employees and Registry staff in maintaining institutional efficiency and facilitating timely delivery of judicial services to the public.

The meeting concluded on a cordial note, with the association members extending their best wishes to the Chief Justice for a successful and distinguished tenure.(KNS)
