Langate July 21: (KNS) People are facing severe problems due to dilapidated condition of the road in Hajan village of Qaziabad, Kralgund.
The road has not been repaired since the road was paved, and is in a very poor condition. The locals have expressed anger against the R&B department for not improving the condition of the road. The vehicles play seldom over the road, because the bad condition of road is causing damage to vehicles.
A local told to KNS, that they had tried to take the matter to the authorities several times, no attention had been paid to the road. "We have been worried about the dilapidated condition of the road for a long time, unfortunately the administration is not paying any attention to our cries. We therefore request to administration to look in to it. The locals have also alleged that they do not have access to clean drinking water in the Hajin village.
While talking to R&B engineer Langate Mushtaq Khuroo, he said to KNS, that it is a genuine demand. We are looking into it, due lack of funds there has been a delay in our projects going across the Langate. However we will try our best to get it done as early as possible, he said.(KNS)
