Budgam, Sep 07 (KNS): Gunfight broke out between militants and the government forces in Kawoosa area of Narbal in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday afternoon.
Reports reaching to kashmir News Service joint team of security forces launched cardon and search operation after getting the specific information about the presence of militants in the area.
Officials told KNS as the joint team of security forces reached the suspected spot the hiding militants fired upon them which was retaliated ensuing the gun battle in the area.

A senior police officer also confirmed the exchange of gunfire between militants and security forces in the area and said the encounter is underway .
