Srinagar July 9 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC)President Ghulam Ahmad Mir Saturday felicitated people on the eve of Eid Ul Adha and prayed for their wellbeing.
Mir in his message termed Eid Ul Adha a very pious occasion and symbol of sacrifices saying that the occasion refreshes the memory of supreme sacrifices given by Prophet Ibrahim(SAW) to please Almighty Allah, which will continue to guide and lead people at the path of truthfulness and righteousness.
Eid Ul Allah gives a message of truthfulness, love and compassion and inspire us to serve and help poor and needy people, which is the basic message of the occassion and needs to be adhered, JKPCC President added.
I send my hearty felicitations to people and pray that the occasion usher in an era of complete peace and affluence of people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, Ghulam Ahmad Mir said.(KNS)
